Ima SWR friction material is ideal for the construction of conical brakes on the drilling clutch of rigs. It provides a reliable braking action, allows for precise control of the rotation speed and reduces the mechanical stress on the equipment’s components, guaranteeing the safety, control and duration of the drilling operations. The material can be supplied in a whole roll, or cut to size and supplied directly conical based the end client’s needs.
We can supply the material already conical and cut to size or the brake bands in rolls to adapt and autonomously cut.
