TAM 01

TAM 01 is a soft and flexible friction lining specifically designed for industrial applications requiring excellent adaptability and smooth braking performance. Its composition allows easy shaping and hot vulcanisation onto the metal support, ensuring strong bonding and long-term reliability. This material is particularly suitable for light-duty braking systems used in winches, hoists, overhead cranes, elevators and various industrial machines operating under moderate loads. TAM 01 provides a balanced combination of friction stability, wear resistance and quiet operation, helping to reduce vibration and maintenance costs throughout the service life of the equipment. Thanks to IMA’s manufacturing expertise, the material can be supplied in rolls or machined into custom-made friction components according to customer drawings, providing reliable solutions for both new installations and maintenance applications.
It is available in tape rolls ranging from 20 mm to 120 mm in width and from 3 mm to 12 mm in thickness.
