The MI-AO-202 is a composite friction material designed for light and medium-light industrial applications where stable friction performance, smooth operation and adequate wear resistance are required. Its formulation ensures consistent braking behaviour during repeated cycles, providing controlled engagement and good heat dissipation. It is suitable for small braking and clutch systems used in industrial machinery, auxiliary mechanisms, material handling equipment and applications with low to moderate loads but continuous operating requirements. The material also offers quiet operation and low aggressiveness on mating surfaces, helping to extend the service life of components. Thanks to I.M.A.’s expertise, MI-AO-202 can be supplied in various formats or machined into custom components according to customer drawings.
