MI 00 201

The MI-00-201 is a rigid composite friction material designed for industrial applications requiring high mechanical strength, stable friction performance and reliable operation under medium to heavy-duty conditions. Its formulation is based on phenolic resins with an NBR bonding system, short fibres and selected metallic components, resulting in a robust material suitable for intensive and continuous duty cycles.

MI-00-201 ensures stable behaviour even under high thermal stress, maintaining effective braking capability and smooth, controlled response. It is particularly suitable for brakes and clutches used in industrial machinery, lifting systems, presses, mechanical transmissions and applications where high performance and load resistance are required.

The presence of friction modifiers and metallic fillers improves heat dissipation and wear resistance, helping to reduce fading and extend component life. The material is compatible with high-quality cast iron mating surfaces and ensures reliable operation even in demanding conditions. Thanks to I.M.A.’s expertise, MI-00-201 can be supplied in various formats or machined into custom components according to customer drawings.
