MI 00 604

The MI-00-604 is a general-purpose rigid composite friction material designed for industrial applications requiring stable friction performance, low wear and consistent behaviour over time. Its formulation is based on phenolic resins with an NBR bonding system and short fibres, resulting in a non-metallic material with high operational consistency and good compatibility with cast iron mating surfaces. This makes it particularly suitable for brakes and clutches used in industrial machinery, material handling systems, lifting equipment, electric motors and general-purpose medium-duty applications.

MI-00-604 ensures stable performance even under repeated working cycles, offering good resistance to thermal fading and smooth, controlled braking response. Its structure also provides decent high-temperature resistance and low wear, helping to extend component life and reduce maintenance needs.
