The MI-00-620 is a composite friction material designed for industrial applications requiring a good balance between stable friction performance, wear resistance and reliable behaviour under continuous operating conditions. Its formulation ensures consistent performance during repeated braking cycles, reducing thermal degradation and providing smooth, progressive and controlled braking response. It is particularly suitable for brakes and clutches used in industrial machinery, lifting systems, cranes, hoists, winches and material handling equipment operating under medium loads and continuous duty conditions. The material also offers good thermal resistance and decent dimensional stability, helping to reduce wear on mating surfaces and extend component service life. Thanks to I.M.A.’s expertise, MI-00-620 can be supplied in various formats or machined into custom components according to customer drawings for specific industrial applications.
